After we have taken down your tree with our Grove truck mounted crane and removed the large debris with our Grapple truck, and taken care of any small debris with our Vermeer wood chipper there is still one more step in the process of getting your yard ready for a new tree or fresh grass. We can take care of the stump removal with our Vermeer self-propelled SC292 stump cutter. This machine is equipped with a 26.5 hp EFI Kohler engine providing full-sized power in a compact unit that can eat up the toughest of hardwoods.

We can maneuver into tight spaces for more efficient stump grinding as this unit is only 35 inches wide, much more compact than earlier models. Safety and power features on this Vermeer model include a hydraulic ground drive system, the exclusive Yellow Jacket Cutter System, legendary in the Arborist industry. An operator presence handle system that is built to disengage the cutter wheel if the operator lets go of the controls.

Grinding has replaced pulling stumps in urban areas and for good reason. Stumps rot over a number of years without proper removal and will prevent new trees or grass from growing as well as provide a place for funguses or other pests to take root.
